Amal Clooney was born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights activist and philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive professional career in the field of human rights and international law have won her international acclaim. Clients include a number of prominent nation states, such as Armenia and its struggle to have the Turkish government recognize Armenia's right to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within pop media. Years before this though she was already well-known and loved in the legal world as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients effectively and with great success. From tackling human and social rights concerns and representing multinational corporations in court proceedings and negotiations concerning government regulations.
