Aisling Bea
Aisling was born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born 16 March 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea first began her career in stand-up comedy in 2011, after playing a few small roles she played on Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. In 2012, she was frequently appearing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. In 2012, following her was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing often in various panel shows. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is a regular contestant in its spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012, she became the first woman ever to win the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea is her name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who was killed when Bea reached the age of three, was the suicide victim. She was told about his suicide only after the age of thirteen. The stage name Bea was a tribute for her father. She published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences dealing with suicide. Bea was raised alongside her older sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer as well as a former professional racer. Her family were obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that racing wasn't the right fit for her.
